Milk and meats

We also just started purchasing milk from the Pittsford Dairy, which sells milk in glass containers. In general, it is greener to eat lower down on the food chain, but if you choose to buy meats, buying local can help. There are two local producers that we buy from. One is Sweetgrass Meats Farm (585-374-9913). The other is McDonald Farm, both of which deliver in Rochester monthly or biweekly. If you buy from McDonald, bring your old egg cases, which he reuses.
