Request for Green House nominations

Is there a Green House in your neighborhood that you think should be featured on our website for everyone’s inspiration?

ColorBrightonGreen.org is requesting nominations and self-nominations for Green Houses to be featured online, with possible future media coverage.  Nominations should include some or all of the following:

  • Energy efficient lighting and/or appliances
  • Composting/organic gardening
  • Insulation
  • Solar or wind power
  • Recycled building materials
  • Energy-efficient vehicles
  • Work done resulting from an energy audit
  • Low-flow showerheads or other water usage reduction methods
  • Other

Preference will be given to houses in and around Brighton. Winners will be featured online, starting in July 2009.
