Seven mile roundtrip bike commute to High Falls from Brighton. Didn’t use my car that week—or the week before or the week after!

Great program! We love to participate each year.

Unfortunately I have a rather large carbon footprint, as I am working outside of Rochester, and I fly nearly across country several times a year to see my family. We need to make all of our communities more bicycle friendly.

Thanks for your work!

I feel this experience raises awareness of our energy footprint.

The week chosen for this event was cool and cloudy (and rainy?) so I did not bike to work. It would be better to schedule this week in the summer.

As it turned out, that week was much more driving-intensive than usual. I was expecting to bike to work all five days, nope, only three out of five, and then relatives descended on us and…it was car-world!
