Pollinators, Pesticides and Parkinson’s

Join us in person or online for a brief introduction to Brighton’s forthcoming Pollinator Pathway Program, which encourages the planting of native species on local residential and commercial properties, followed by an in-depth discussion of the link between Parkinson’s disease and exposure to pesticides and other chemicals.

Dr. Ray Dorsey, MBA is co-author of Ending Parkinson’s Disease: A Prescription for Action. He is a professor of neurology and director of the Center for Human Experimental Therapeutics at the University of Rochester Medical Center. Dr. Dorsey is investigating new treatments for movement disorders and is working on ways to improve the way care is delivered for individuals with Parkinson’s disease and other neurological disorders.
